Jesus Will Judge Us In the End

April 26, 2013

Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.”   Hebrews 9:27

“See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of His holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”  Jude 14-15

In John 5: 22-23, Jesus said,

“…the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, Who sent Him.”

Acts 17: 29-31 reads:

“…we should not think that the Divine Being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by man’s design and skill.

In the past, God overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent.  For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising Him from the dead.”

2 Corinthians 5:10 says,

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”

Jesus said,

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His throne in heavenly glory.  All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.   He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on His left…”   Matthew 25: 31-33 (Please take time to read Matthew 25: 31-46 on your own)

“There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”  Romans 8:1

Jesus said in Matthew 7: 21-23:

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from Me, you evildoers!’”  (The worst words a soul will ever hear)

Revelation 20: 11-15 reads,

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from His presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done.  Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire.

The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. ”

Jesus said,

“Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done.  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.”   Revelation 22: 12-13

God is love and because of it, he alone ability to judge. He is the true standard. I rather be in the mercy hands of God than the hands of men with no fear o f Him. Fear has no power on those who are covered and safe in His love. 🙂
